The BCCI has exempted Jasprit Bumrah from the Vijay Hazare Trophy to manage his workload ahead of a busy white-ball season and the T20 World Cup. Despite asking other stars to play domestic cricket, Bumrah has been rested due to past injury concerns. Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja will feature in the tournament.
