Police apprehended the alleged killer of a Dalit woman in Haridwar two days after her murder and her daughter’s abduction in Meerut. The daughter was safely recovered. Political leaders attempting to visit the aggrieved family were reportedly stopped by security forces, while BJP politicians were allowed access.
