It took 2,587 days for top-tier club football to return to Delhi. And then it took a while for the stands to get occupied. But when they did — for SC Delhi vs Jamshedpur FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium — by 6,372 fans, it was met by loud chants, dhol beats, and deafening celebrations despite rain in the air.
