A political storm brewed in Parliament after a BJP MP accused a Trinamool Congress lawmaker of using an e-cigarette inside the Lok Sabha, a move allegedly violating a national ban. The BJP lodged a formal complaint, citing the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2019. TMC, however, dismissed the claims as a manufactured controversy.
