Apple is could be ending OpenAI’s exclusive hold on Siri, opening the voice assistant up to multiple chatbots—including Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude—through a new “Extensions” feature coming in iOS 27. Users will be able to choose their preferred AI from the App Store and set it directly in Settings.
