Australian software firm Atlassian is laying off 1,600 employees, 10 percent of its workforce. This includes Chief Technology Officer Rajeev Rajan. The company cites AI developments and a declining stock price as reasons for restructuring. Atlassian aims to self-fund AI investments and enterprise sales. The majority of job cuts are in North America, followed by Australia and India.
