Former chief selector Sandeep Patil has refuted claims by Yograj Singh that MS Dhoni was responsible for Yuvraj Singh’s ouster from the Indian team. Patil stated on record that Dhoni never requested Yuvraj’s exclusion and fully trusted the selection committee’s decisions. He acknowledged a father’s emotions but emphasised the blame was misplaced.
