Nvidia has denied reports that Chinese AI startup DeepSeek is using smuggled Blackwell chips for its upcoming AI model. The company stated it has seen no evidence of “phantom datacenters” used for such illicit activities. This denial comes after a report alleged DeepSeek acquired unauthorized advanced chips, which are banned for export to China by the US.
