IPL 2026: CSK tells HC it will not use Jailer, Jailer 2, or Coolie songs without license

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) informed the Madras High Court they will stop using songs from Rajinikanth’s movies Jailer, Jailer2, and Coolie without a license from copyright owner Sun Pictures. This submission came in response to Sun TV Network’s plea seeking an injunction against CSK for alleged copyright infringement in team promotions.
