MGNREGA to be renamed again? Govt to float proposal; to allocate Rs 1.51L cr for scheme

The Union Cabinet is reportedly set to approve renaming the MGNREGA to Pujya Bapu Gramin Rojgar Yojna. The government plans to introduce a bill guaranteeing 125 days of work annually to the rural poor, with an allocation of Rs 1.51 lakh crore.
