A criminal case has been filed against three doctors and health officials after a nearly half-meter surgical cloth was found inside a woman’s abdomen over a year after her delivery. The foreign object, left during a C-section in November 2023, caused persistent pain and complications before its removal in April. The woman’s husband alleges negligence and threats during the investigation.
