Bill Gates has apologised to Gates Foundation staff for his association with Jeffrey Epstein, admitting it was a “huge mistake” that harmed the organisation’s reputation. While asserting he “did nothing illicit,” Gates acknowledged meetings continued after Epstein’s conviction and that his ties helped Epstein “burnish his reputation.” He also admitted to two affairs during his marriage.
