The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a deadly blast at a Shia mosque in Islamabad, which resulted in over three dozen casualties. The terror outfit’s mouthpiece stated the attack was a Fidayeen operation by a soldier of the Islamic State in Pakistan Province. This claim comes amidst growing sectarian tensions and an IS call for Lashkar-e-Taiba members to defect.
